White Balance
  • Add the filter: Find and add the 'White Balance' filter to your video clip.
  • Find the brightest white: Scrub through your video to find the brightest white object/area.
  • Use the eyedropper: Click the eyedropper tool and select that white area.
  • Ideal color temperature: Aim for around 6500K color temperature for a natural look.
Color Grading
  • Add the filter: Find and add the 'Color Grading' filter to your video.
  • Analyze the waveform: Look at the waveform monitor as a guide.
  • Adjust shadows: Pull the 'Shadows' slider down until the waveform touches the bottom (zero) line.
  • Adjust highlights: Raise the 'Highlights' slider until the waveform brushes the top (100) line.
  • Check for balance: Scrub through the video to make sure highlights and shadows aren't overdone.
Sharpness
  • Add the filter: Find and add the 'Sharpen' filter to your clip.
  • Adjust with care: Increase sharpness slightly. Be careful, as too much sharpness can create harsh edges.
