Preparation in Shotcut:- Capture ambient room noise (e.g., fans, AC) at the beginning of your shoot.
- Identify and record other unwanted noises throughout the video (e.g., stove fan).
- Adjust audio levels to your desired target (e.g., -1 DB).
- Export your video without video, keeping only the audio.
- Import the audio file into Audacity.
- Select a section of pure ambient noise (1-3 seconds).
- Go to Effects > Noise Reduction > Get Noise Profile.
- Select a section with desired audio (3 seconds).
- Go to Effects > Noise Reduction and adjust the reduction level (preview to find the best setting).
- Apply the noise reduction to the entire audio track (Ctrl+A).
- Repeat the process for other unwanted noises, selecting their specific noise profiles.
- Export the cleaned audio from Audacity.
