Crème Brûlée

cremebruleex300.webp&app=site

description Description

Crème brûlée is a dessert that's both elegant and simple. It features a rich, creamy custard base infused with vanilla and topped with a layer of hardened caramelized sugar. The contrast between the smooth, cool custard and the crackly, warm topping is what makes crème brûlée so irresistible.

General Tips:

  • Use a water bath for even baking and to prevent the custard from cracking.
  • Skim off any bubbles or fat from the custard before baking.
  • Check custards every 10 minutes after the initial baking time.
  • Caramelize the sugar in layers for a better result.
  • Don't overcook the sugar, as it can burn easily.
