To give our spice some time to bloom let's melt the butter for the topping then combined topping ingredients.
Heat oven to 450 F.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
blend until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add butter milk and cheese.
Drop by spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet
Bake until lightly browned 8-10 minutes.
When biscuits are done, remove from oven and brush with topping mixture over warm biscuits.
